Cancer Free

As of Thursday, my mom is cancer free. She went to a checkup, and when she came back, we found out that all the cancer is gone. I went to a friend's party last night, and it really felt like the first time I had fun without my mom's cancer in the back of my mind. Unfortunately, when I woke up this morning my mom was back in Abington Hospital getting more fluids. At least, she is recovering and not getting sicker. I leave for a two week program at Brown University this weekend. It will be nice not to have to worry while I'm gone.
